I’m Jennifer Mortimer, a senior marketing consultant based in Surrey, partnering with ambitious founders, investors, and business owners to help them clarify their brand, strengthen their reputation, and drive commercial growth.

With over 15 years’ experience leading marketing and brand strategy across private equity, property, professional services, tech, and media, I’ve worked with businesses ranging from fast-growth startups to established national and global brands. Most recently, as Head of Marketing at YFM Equity Partners, I repositioned the firm from a traditional private equity house to a trusted voice for UK entrepreneurs and high-growth SMEs, launching The Entrepreneur Economy and The Entrepreneur Lab, award-winning content and PR campaigns that secured national media coverage and overtook larger competitors in share of voice.

Before YFM, I led marketing for Brickowner, Deverell Smith, and Allsop, delivering measurable results across brand, digital, and PR. My work has included global property marketing campaigns, nationwide research and thought leadership projects, and strategic rebrands that have consistently improved visibility, engagement, and lead generation.

I began my career agency-side at Jellyfish, managing digital campaigns for the BBC and Which.co.uk, after completing a BA (Hons) in Classical Civilisation and Marketing at the University of Leeds.

I now balance consulting with running The Old and New Company, my small antiques and interiors business, and life at home in Surrey with my husband and two children.
